In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord we greet you! It is a joy to welcome you to our fellowship. I pray that your decision to join our church will be strengthened as you learn more about serving our Lord here at Union Community Church.

Please do not think that membership is just “another ritual” in the church. We have no intention of you joining Union and then fading into inactivity and anonymity. Our desire is for each member to be active in ministry. Why do we want you to be an “active member”? — because we believe people bloom when they are serving God. Serving God in the church is a positive and rewarding experience. We are a growing fellowship and we need all members to be challenged and ready serve.

As a part of our Purpose-Driven initiative, you will be offered opportunities to grow here at Union. The Christian Life And Service Seminars (C.L.A.S.S.) will be offered to you and we challenge you to be diligent about completing each base. The seminars will consist of four classes: 101 (Discovering My Membership); 201 (Discovering Spiritual Maturity); 301 (Discovering My Ministry); and 401 (Discovering My Life Mission).

Myself, First Lady Charlene Coffee and the entire Leadership Team desire to serve you. My prayer is that as you join hands with the body of Christ here at Union, and as you allow the Word of God to speak to your heart, we will together be transformed into the image of Christ himself.
